Micropolitan Markets

MiSA v MSA
In Micropolitan Statistical Areas (μSA, MiSA, MCSA), roles tend to be more general, cross-industry career changes more common, and skill versatility more developed.
In Metropolitan Statistical Areas, there's a greater tendency toward specialization, narrower and more defined responsibilities and a greater prevalence of single-industry careers.
Professionals accustomed to reviewing MSA candidates may find my experiences as a Business Strategist, PR Director, Sales and Marketing Director, Corporate Training Developer, Life Coach, Entrepreneur and Home Educator, disconcerting.
Granted, even for a MiSA, my career path is perhaps more multifarious than most - driven as it was by my family's unique needs. But amidst the motley role titles, you'll see common themes of C-level Communication, Analytic and Organizational Skills, along with my innate love of emerging technologies, and continuous improvement inspired self-education.
Do You Get Bored Easily?
Nope. In fact, I thrive on consistency, stability and routine. The path I chose wasn't based on my comfort, but rather on what I perceived to be the most prudent means of satisfying my duties with excellence.
